Women's Leadership

Enbridge is committed to improving the working situations of women at the office and in the community. That’s why Enbridge proudly created Women@Enbridge— a program that offers leadership development, mentorship and peer coaching to women in the company. In the community, Enbridge is the presenting sponsor for the Enbridge Famous 5 Luncheon Series in Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa. These series profile extraordinarily successful women who speak candidly about their careers and their motivations to succeed. Enbridge is also a sponsor of the Calgary Women’s Leadership Forum—a yearly event designed to deliver a powerful leadership development experience where women can explore, learn and take action in a supportive environment.

The Famous 5 Foundation inspires and educates Canadians to become nation builders in the legacy of the Famous 5. It was launched on October 18, 1996 (the anniversary of the ‘Persons' Case) and in 1997 was registered as a not-for-profit charitable corporation to honour the Famous 5 and other Canadian women. The foundation’s hope for the future is that all Canadians will recognize their potential to contribute in positive ways to the generation in which they are living, and honour the leadership of women and men who have been our nation builders.
