Enbridge is proud to support The Alberta Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS). They respond to trauma and medical calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year – at no cost to patients. Enbridge is also proud to help them acquire two new high technology helicopters that will be able to fly faster and further without refuelling than any others in the fleet.
The Alberta Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing a safe, rapid, highly specialized emergency medical transport system for the critically ill and injured. Four pillars support the STARS vision of saving lives: patient care and transport, emergency medical communications, education and research, and fundraising and community support.
